TOURNAMENTS & OTHERS

In this section, we will mention upcoming national and international tournaments, camps and other events that are relevant to USATT Para Table Tennis community.

Parapan American Games and Paralympic Games information

Qualifying and interested athletes are responsible for all costs associated with participation. No coaching or other on-site support will be provided – unless otherwise approved and announced by USATT.

Not only do PTT athletes compete, but they excel in USATT tournaments all over the country.  We encourage PTT athletes to compete head-to-head against able body athletes based on age, levels, and/or gender.  Please check the Tournament Schedules section of USATT website for your local, regional and major tournaments in the U.S. accordingly.

At the present time, there are only 2 USATT national tournaments (U.S. Open in July and U.S. Nationals in December) with events for disabled athletes.  At these tournaments the disabled events offered are considered an Open Category – meaning for Wheelchair and/or Standing players.  For instance, all wheelchair players compete against each other regardless of class and gender and the same applies for the standing disabled.

2010 U.S. Nationals – Las Vegas, Nevada

Paralympic Classification Clinic
When: at 2010 US Nationals – Dec 14-18, 2010
Where: TBD
For athletes who wants or need to be nationally classified

2011 U.S. Para Open – Milwaukee, Wisconsin (International Tournament – ITTF PTT)
When: June 29 – July 3, 2011
Applied for Factor 20 tournament
