Asian Table Tennis Union General Meeting

On May 3, the ATTU held its General Meeting where the following decisions were made regarding the appointment or reappointment of officers and selection of event venues. In this meeting the retirement and promotion of Mr. Atsushi Goto (Japan) to President Emeritus was approved. Mr. Li Furong (China) was newly elected as ATTU President. In addition, Mr. Koji Kimura (Japan) was appointed Deputy President of ATTU. [Note – Li Furong is known to many as the finalist in Men’s Singles at the 1961, 1963 and 1965 World Championships.]
