China d. North Korea 3-0
It may have been 3-0, but it could just as easily have been 2-1 for North Korea. World #3 Zhang Yining and North Korean ace Kim Hyun Hui have never played, at least in the past two years. The split the first two games at 18 before Zhang pulled away and won the third.
In the third match, Li Ju struggled with North Korea's Tu Jong Sil, losing the first and fighting off a match point in the second. Like Zhang, once she pulled out the second, she won the third easily.
The feature write-up on this, by Tim Boggan, will go up later.
