Our intention at the this moment is to give you some background and allow you to orient yourself and decide where on the site you wish to go next! USA Table Tennis is the National Governing Body for Table Tennis in the United States, recognized as such by both the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) and the United States Olympic Committee (USOC). USA Table Tennis sanctions tournaments, selects the National and Olympic teams, certifies and trains coaches and referees. USA Table Tennis added operation of a ‘singles league’ in 2002, which is still offered and is available to everyone at no charge! The Singles league allows you, USATT member or not, to form a ‘league’ of singles players and record your results against each other. It’s perfect for workplace competitions, club ranking ladders and keeping track of neighborhood or family rivalries. If that’s where you are, the thing you want to do, click here! If you are looking for a coach, or would like to visit a USATT affiliated club near you, find out about USATT membership and USATT sanctioned tournaments, visit the USATT’s main site at www.usatt.org . This site is to join, with teammates, the new USA Table Tennis Teams League, play beginning in January 2007. You need not be a USATT member to participate, but if you’ve never had a tournament ranking, you will have to figure out your approximate skill level. To that end, we have created the Handy Dandy infallible “Self-Ranking Test”. Answer a few quick questions, pick a description that is most like yourself and submit to the League Office. USATT Teams League Early Bird Price Reduced After consulting with the USATT Team League sponsors, Escalade and Paddle Palace, and conversations with Regional Coordinators, NATT is announcing an adjustment to the price of participation in the League. Find out some information about elected Regional Coordinators in your area by following this link! The first ever Regional Coordinator for the USATT Team League is Keith Tademy ! Check out the News section of the site for more information. After a slight delay, Registration for the USATT Team Leagues is now OPEN! We apologize for the inconvenience the delay might have caused. We wanted to make sure all programming and web design ran flawlessly. So, with most everything complete on our side of the table, it’s YOUR turn! Go grab your friends and be a part of the newest trend and excitement in Table Tennis. Finally, congrats are in order for Maryland TTC in becoming the first team to sign up for the Team Leagues. As many of you know, the MDTTC is home to many of the best players in the nation. With coaches like Jack Huang and Cheng Ying Hua, it looks like this club might be able to put together a powerhouse team to become the first Team League Champions in the country. So, what are you waiting for? Have your club create a team that can compete to become the FIRST EVER Team League Champion! |
