National Championships for the USA Table Tennis Teams League

Some one is going to win…BIG in Las Vegas this summer!  At stake is $5,000 in prize money and five brand new STIGA Expert Roller tables.  The 2007 US Open in Las Vegas hosts the first USATT Teams League National Championships.  As play concludes in the Leagues, invitations will be issued to the qualifying teams based on their league standing and results in each of five Divisions.

Team match-ups will use the Olympic format, with doubles as the third match of the set.  The Divisions for National Titles and prizes are Novice/U1000;U-1500;U-1900;U-2200 and Open.

The Schedule will follow:

Open, U2200, U1900
Round 1: Wednesday, 7PM
Round 2: Thursday, 7PM
Round 3: Friday, 7PM

U1500, U1000/Novice
Finals: Friday, 7PM

 
Through the generous support of Paddle Palace and STIGA, Prizes, cash and trophies of more than $10,000 in value will go to the winning teams.  For the Champions in Novice/U1000,U-1500,U-1900 and U-2200 Divisions, the Champion Team will receive a brand new STIGA Expert Roller Table, in addition to their trophies.  The runners-up in those Divisions will receive trophies as well.  In Open Singles, Teams reaching the Semi-Finals will be awarded $625, the runner-up gets $1,250 and trophies, the Open Champion gets $2,500, a new STIGA Expert Roller Table and trophies for their title performance.
