Send
us your best-written limerick,
The best about ping-pong we’ll pick,
A year’s membership free,
To the one that we see,
As being most truly fantastic!
We’ll publish the best of these picks,
We’re hoping for truly nice classics,
Send as many as four,
Of your best ping-pong lore,
If they’re great, send as many as six!
*Submit your table tennis limericks by May 20 to Editor Larry Hodges. A discussion of the proper form for limericks is at the web page at www.sfu.ca/~finley/discussion.html. We won’t be strict on perfect limerick form, but do your best! Contest winners may elect to take a U.S. Nationals or Open shirt instead of a year’s membership.
