The Concord Table Tennis Club was formed in 1972 and is in its 32nd year of operation. The club has over 150 active members. Ratings of the players ranges from 150 to 2100. It is open four days a week (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday). Thursdays are round robin tournament nights with an average of 36 players per week. The attendance increases to 54 players during the summer. A number of players play doubles on Sundays. Open play is available on all playing days except Thursday.

The gym at the Pleasant Hill Christian School is well lit and air-conditioned. The flooring is concrete and non-slippery. The club has sixteen Butterfly Centrefold Rollaway tables with Butterfly Europa net sets. Nittaku 3-star 40mm balls (orange) are provided by the club.

National level coach Bill Lui runs several clinics at the club. Most prominent among them is the Junior Training Program run on Mondays and Tuesdays. Atha Fong made the National U-18 Junior Girls’ Team as the 3rd alternate and the National U-15 Cadet Girls Team as the 4th alternate for this year. Juniors from the program also won the U-1000, U-1100, and U-1200 events at the 2003 Nationals. A drill clinic is held every Sunday afternoon. Beginners and Intermediate clinics are held on Tuesdays. Private instruction is also offered.
