Congratulations on making the USA
National Team. To what do you attribute your improved performance?
My improved patience and consistency.
Who is your coach, and whom do you
practice with? How often?
Cheng Yinghua is my coach. I practice maybe once a week with Todd Sweeris, and
the remaining time I either play with my dad, James Duan, or in the MDTTC Elite
League.
What techniques have you been working
on this past year, and what will you be working on in the coming year?
I am mostly working on my power and my short game, which seems like two
opposites but I think I lack a little of both.
What are your short-, intermediate- and
long-term goals in table tennis?
I hope to do well for the junior team in Sweden, and my long-term goal is to
make the Olympics, hopefully in 2008.
