The Davison Athletic Club Table Tennis Team Celebrates 6th Anniversary of the Romanian Camp

When an international table tennis camp takes place for the sixth time in seven years, it is safe to call the series a success. This year, from June 20 to August 11, Jon Bosika once again led a team of nine table tennis players to Romania for training and fun in the sun.  The athletes participated in intensive training with players from Romania, who recently brought home several medals from the European Junior Championships. The athletes participated in intensive training with the following practice partners: players from Romania, who recently brought home several medals from the European Junior Championships; players from the Turkish club Fenerbace; players from the Serbian club Unirea (Jon Bosika’s club and home of U.S. Champion Ilija Lupulesku); and players from Montpellier, France.

The participants from the United States were the following Michigan and Missouri players: team captain Dennis Cobb (who participated for the fifth year), Grantley Charles (third year), Arnold Anderson (third year), Jon Anderson (second year), Teymour Sepahbodi, Danny Dulkin, Justin Bertschi, Charles Priscu and Mimi Bosika (fifth year).
