Improving Your Games as an Intermediate Player

As a beginner I was passionate about table tennis. This passion served me well. I endured getting stomped at the club with a smile and just kept working. As I got better the higher level players began to take notice. Finally they would actually play me.


They would give me tips and accelerate my progress. Through all the learning curve I just kept busting my butt. Effort pays off, right?


But about a year ago I had to take a hard look at things. I was still working as hard as ever, but the results had stopped improving. I was flat lining. I increased my work ethic, leaving a pool of sweat underneath the end of every table I played on. No results.
