15% Commission on Memberships for Clubs & Tournaments Renewed

May 3, 2003 – The USATT Board of Directors yesterday voted unanimously to renew the 15% commission given to tournaments and clubs for USATT members signed up. The commission, long a fund-raising source and incentive to recruit members for clubs and tournaments, had been revoked at a previous meeting, due to a seeming lack of interest and therefore unnecessary loss of funds. However, the Board re-evaluated the program, and unanimously decided to renew it.

A number of other motions were passed at the USATT Board meetings held in Colorado Springs, CO, May 2-3. One motion that passed unanimously was that the motions and vote results at meetings will go online within five days of the meeting, and the complete and approved minutes of the meeting will go online within 45 days. They will both be posted at the USATT Minutes Page within the time frame. (Motions and votes will most likely go up on Monday.)
