USATT Coaching Seminars

To USATT Coaches - There are two USATT coaching seminars coming up. One will be a 3-day seminar in South Bend, Indiana, Dec. 5-7; the other will be at the USA Nationals in Las Vegas on Dec. 18.

South Bend, Indiana, Dec. 5-7, 2003

The USATT, partnered with the USOC, is sponsoring a 3-day coaching seminar in South Bend, IN.  The dates will be: December 5-7 (Friday-Sunday).  The seminar will begin Friday evening at 6:00 p.m. and will finish on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.

Many topics and new techniques will be discussed.  Dan Seemiller, USATT's Coaching Director, and his assistant, National Coach, Mark Nordby, will host the seminar.  This is a great chance to enhance your coaching skills and to better understand the many different techniques of the sport.

There will be a limit of 24 coaches that can attend.  The first 6 coaches from each level will be accepted.  If you sign up for the seminar and are selected, you will receive $150 expense if driving and $200 if flying.  There will be no charge for the seminar.  You must be actively coaching to apply.

Hello!  Are you going to Las Vegas this year?  A coaching seminar will be held on Thursday evening, December 18, from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the Stratosphere Hotel.  (Note that an earlier flyer sent out on this had the day listed incorrectly as Wednesday.) National Coach, Dan Seemiller will host the seminar assisted by National Coach Mark Nordby.

Only certified coaches are eligible to attend.  This event is sponsored by the USATT in cooperation with the US Olympic Committee.
