USA Junior Girls Team Going to First World Junior Championships

Santiago, Chile · Dec. 13-22, 2003

USA Table Tennis is sending its National Junior Girls Team to the International Table Tennis Federation’s (ITTF) Sanctioned World Junior Table Tennis Championships (WJTTC) held in Santiago, Chile which will take Dec. 13-22, 2003.  The tournament was organized by the Chilean Table Tennis Association as part of the ITTF’s Global Junior Program to help promote the youth of Table Tennis. 

The US Junior Girls' team will take on world-class teams from China, Korea Republic, Chinese Taipei, Chile, Japan, Nigeria, Australia, Czech Republic, Serbia & Montenegro, India, Venezuela, Germany, Romania, Egypt, and Cuba. There will be Singles, Doubles and Team events.

The U.S. Girls' Team members are:

Coach Dennis Davis San Francisco, CA

Preceding the WJTTC, the USA team will attend a mandatory training camp in San Francisco, CA (Dec. 6-11) run by Coach Davis and joined by the East China University of Science and Technology Team from Shanghai, China.
