USATT Election Update

Dear USATT Member:

This is the second ballot you have been sent for this year’s election. The first ballot you received is null and void. If you still have it, please discard it. If you have already mailed it in, we will discard it for you.

The first ballot is no good because the USOC failed to follow its own guidelines for fraud control. It would have been possible to copy the envelope, make copies of the ballot, and vote more than once. I’m sure you agree that it is extremely important that we all have complete confidence in the election results.

Please complete the ballot on the other side of this sheet. Note that you may vote for one candidate for President and one candidate for Secretary. However, two Vice-President positions will be filled. Therefore, you may vote for either one or two candidates for Vice-President at large.

If you vote for too many candidates for any position, your votes for that position will not be counted.

After you have completed the ballot, please refold it and place it in the return (smaller) envelope provided. This return envelope is addressed to the accounting firm which will receive the ballots and compile election results. Please affix a 37 cent stamp to this side. Note that your address (on the back of the envelope), which was showing through the address window in the larger envelope, will now serve as the return address on the smaller envelope.

TO HELP GUARD AGAINST FRAUD, there is a place on the RETURN envelope for you to sign. YOUR BALLOT WILL NOT BE COUNTED WITHOUT YOUR SIGNATURE ON THE RETURN ENVELOPE.

The deadline by which Waugh & Associates must receive your ballot is November 10. Thank you for voting.
