Position
Title: Technical/High-Performance Director
Summary:
Provide coaching and other technical expertise in the field of table tennis; coordinate table tennis high-performance and grass roots activities.
Essential
Functions:
Plan
and coordinate programs of all National Teams in collaboration with the Elite
Athlete Committee.
Develop,
implement and coordinate the coaching education and certification program in
collaboration with the Coaching Committee.
Coordinate
and oversee activities at Regional and National Training Centers.
Develop,
implement and coordinate grass roots programs and activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Residence:
Colorado Springs, but significant travel is required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Coaching degree in table tennis, or equivalent qualification.
Experience in international coaching.
Experience in coaching education.
Courses taken in Sports Psychology, Methods of Sports Training, and Planning of Sports Training.
