2004 USA National Team Trials

The USA National Team Trials will be held this year at the USA Nationals in Las Vegas, Dec. 15-18. Men's and Women's Singles at the Nationals (which both start on Thursday, Dec. 16) will be the Trials.  The top four finishers in these events will qualify as members of the 2005 USA Table Tennis Men’s and Women’s National Teams. The format for these events will be single elimination to the quarterfinals. From the quarterfinals, there will be two groups of four-person round robins. There will be a crossover and final for each position. All matches from the round of 32 will be the best of seven. (Note that the USA Junior and Cadet Team Trials are also being held at the Nationals, but in separate events.) The entry form for the USA Nationals will be available soon, and will be posted here.
