$90,000 U.S. Open/ITTF Pro Tour to Chicago

 

USATT is pleased to announce that it has reached a sponsorship agreement with Killerspin for the 2004, 2005, and 2006 U.S. Open.  The 2004 U.S. Open will be held in Chicago.  The expected dates of the event are June 30-July 4.  USATT will host a Major ITTF Pro Tour, with at least $90,000 in prize money.  The U.S. Open/ITTF Pro Tour is the final event affecting seedings for the Olympics Games in Athens.  We expect most of the top players in the world to enter.  The U.S. Open/ITTF Pro Tour will be promoted during airings of the the successful Killerspin Championships, which took place last December.
