USATT
Athlete Elections
Only those who represented USA in Olympic, Pan Am, or Operation Gold Competitions over the past ten years may vote and run for Olympic Representative, a four-year term. (Operation Gold Competitions are defined in a contract between USATT and USOC, and include World Championships in non-Olympic years.) Elite athletes are also represented by two National Athlete Board Reps, one of each gender. All USA National, Olympic, and Pan Am Team Members of the past ten years may vote and run for National Athlete Representative, a two-year term. A weighted voting system was used, with athletes ranking their choices 1-2-3, and the top choice getting 3 “points,” the second 2, and the third 1.
All Athletes’ Reps take office Jan. 1, 2005. Election results are listed below. Those in bold were elected.
