CHICAGO – Chicago’s will welcome table tennis Olympian and star Zoran Primorac at an event on Thursday, May 9 from 7:30-10 p.m. at Kennicott Park located in Hyde Park.

The event, hosted by Killerspin, will feature a table tennis exhibition including Primorac and other World-class Table Tennis Players.

Primorac, 32, is coming to Chicago for a promotional visit for Killerspin, the United States’ most exciting new table tennis team and company. Killerspin (www.killerspin.com) sells sports clothing and table tennis equipment. The company promotes U.S. table tennis as well as youth and family activities. Killerspin will also be hosting one of the United States’ biggest ever table tennis championships this fall.

Zoran Primorac has won many national and world table tennis tournaments, including the Austrian, China and Qatar Opens. He is currently ranked among the top players in the world. He played for Croatia in the 1996 and 2000 Olympics. Earlier this month, he finished third in Men’s Singles in the European Table Tennis Championships in Zagreb. Primorac and Killerspin team member Ilija "Lupi" Lupulesku who will also be at the event once made up the top table tennis doubles team in the world when they played for Yugoslavia.
