Eric Owens Elected USATT Olympic Representative

Nov. 5, 2002  - Each National Governing Body is represented on the USOC's Athletes' Advisory Council.  This is a council of athletes elected by athletes who have represented USA Table Tennis in the World Championships, Olympic Games, or Pan American Games within the previous ten years.  This person also serves as a member of the USA Table Tennis Board of Directors.

Li Ai, who was elected for a term from 2000 through 2004, recently resigned due to time constraints, leaving an opening. In an election just held, Eric Owens was elected to take her place. His term of office will be from November 4, 2002 December 31, 2004.

Shown below are the final results of the nominated athletes.  The winner will represent USA Table Tennis as a member of the USOC Athletes' Advisory Council.
