2007 Pan Am Team Leader Selection
USA Table Tennis is seeking for a Team Leader for the 2007 Pan Am Games. All travel and hospitality expenses will be paid by USOC for all meetings and for the Pan Am Games.
Candidates who meet the following criteria may submit their application to USATT Headquarters (USATT, One Olympic Plaza, Colorado Springs, CO 80909, email: ed@usatt.org) by September 4, 2006:
- Ability to work effectively with the USOC.
- Fulfills all duties and requirements of the USOC.
- Available for entire duration of the Games.
- Proven competence as a Team Leader with international USATT, ITTF and/or Olympic competition
- Proven ability to establish harmonious relationships with athletes and other team personnel.
- Related experience:
- Administrative and athlete relations, previous Pan Am or Worlds Team Leader experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to understand and manage athlete issues
- Willingness and ability to work and dedicate time to planning, administration and crisis management issues.
