2007 Pan Am Coaches - Selection Process

USA Table Tennis is seeking National Team Coaches (men's and women's) for the
2007 Pan Am Games.  For all tournaments and camps included in the 2007 National Team program, all travel and hospitality expenses will be covered and the selected coaches will receive a per diem established by the National Team budget.

Candidates who meet the following criteria may submit their application to Todd
Sweeris by email at tsweeris@deloitte.com by September 13, 2006.   Please indicate the specific position for which you are applying:

1.   High level, specific technical and tactical knowledge of the sport.
2.   Thorough knowledge and understanding of the IF rules and regulations
governing the sport.
3.   Experience and proven ability coaching teams at the national and
international levels.
4.   Proven ability to establish harmonious relationships with athletes and
other team personnel.
5.   Proven record of performance with the NGB and the USOC.
6.   Ability and willingness to lead the team for the entire 2007 National Team
program.
7.  All candidates must have a United States social security card.
8   The selected coaches and alternates must agree to a USOC background check. 

For each team, a coach and an alternate will be selected.
