Coach of the Year Nomination Forms:

We have the opportunity to participate in a USOC Coaching Recognition Program that will honor a Volunteer Coach of the Year, a Development Coach of the Year, a National Coach of the Year and a “Doc” Councilman Science Award winner.

The category descriptions follow this cover letter as well as the forms needed to be completed by those participating in the nomination process.

I have assembled a Selection Committee that consists of USATT Chairman, Peter Scudner , the Chairman of the USATT Coaching Committee, John Allan, our USOC AAC Representative, Ashu Jain , our USOC AAC Alternate Representative, Whitney Ping as well as myself.  In 2007, I was pleasantly surprised by the number of individuals who made the effort to nominate a wide range of outstanding coaches in the USA .

I invite you to participate in the nomination process by submitting your nomination(s) directly to me at ed@usatt.org, or by fax at 719 632 6071.  Please be sure that they are submitted by the Close of Business (COB) on January 7, 2009.  I will share the nominations with the Selection Committee Members and on or about January 15 we will announce the winners in each category based upon the nominations received.  Thank you for your immediate attention to this opportunity to recognize deserving coaches within our USATT coaching community.
