Cadet and Junior National Team Trials to be Held in Conjunction with the December 2010 U.S. Nationals in Las Vegas

In an attempt to try and ease the physical demands placed on our cadet and junior athletes, we were seeking to stage the National Team Trials separate from the U.S. Nationals, in Las Vegas this winter. Our time target was late December of 2010 through January of 2011.

We received no responses to our request for bids to host the Trials.

Therefore, we will hold the 2010 Cadet and Junior National Trials in conjunction with the 2010 U.S. Nationals.

The events to be used as Trials for the 2011 Junior and Cadet Teams are events 6 through 9: Cadet Boys' Singles, Cadet Girls’ Singles, Junior Boys’ Singles and Junior Girls’ Singles. Entry forms are available on-line at the USATT website – www.usatt.org. The eligibility for those events is changed to: In order to participate, a player must be US Citizen and eligible to represent USA at ITTF World events. The playing system for the above events will be revised and posted on USATT web page in the near future.
