USA Table Tennis – Board Action of 1/10/11

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Board of Directors of USA Table Tennis met via teleconference on 1/10/11. At this meeting, Peter Scudner was elected to serve a second term as Chairman of the Board.

Another Board action taken at this teleconference meeting was to approve the Chairmen and Chairwomen of the Advisory Committee and Standing Committees.  They are as follows:

Advisory Committees:

Officials and Rules Advisory Committee Chairman – Roman Tinyszin
Tournaments Advisory Committee Chairman – Larry Rose
Seniors Advisory Committee Chairwoman – Olga Kahan
Editorial Advisory Committee Chairman – Tim Boggan
Coaching Advisory Committee Chairman – Richard McAfee
Juniors Advisory Committee Chairman – Dennis Davis
Clubs Advisory Committee Chairman – Attila Malek
Hardbat Advisory Committee Chairman – Alberto Prieto

Committee Chairs will be given time to make recommendations to the Board about their respective committee members and they will be tasked to review their respective committee responsibilities for the coming term.  We anticipate being in a position to make announcement on full Advisory and Standing Committee compositions in February of 2011.
