USATT Advisory Committees – Openings
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
For the last several months, the Committee Restructuring Task Force (CRTF) Chaired by Christian Lillieroos, has been in the process of reviewing the existing committee structure with the idea of managing the work of the committees in a more streamlined and functional basis. Under the Bylaws all existing committees dissolved as of December 31, 2008. This CRTF review resulted in an outreach to existing committee chairs to provide background for overall assessment of the scope of that respective committee’s area of responsibility. The CRTF made a full report on the result of their outreach effort with existing committee leadership to the Board of Directors at their meeting held in conjunction with the U.S. Nationals in Las Vegas on Dec 16 and 17, 2008.
Under Article IX of the current USATT Bylaws, the Board or Chief Executive Officer shall appoint advisory committees as they believe to be appropriate. At the December Las Vegas Board Meeting, the Board voted to appoint the following Advisory Committees:

Juniors Advisory Committee
Coaching Advisory Committee
Clubs Advisory Committee - (Chair: Linda Leaf – Club Representative: USATT Board)

It is the responsibility of the USATT Athlete Advisory Committee to make those athlete nominations to the respective Advisory Committees listed above.
