SUBJECT: Notice of Advisory and Standing Committees Review

Committee Responsibility Document

According to the USATT Bylaws it is time to review our committee structure and composition.  At this time we are seeking volunteers who are interested in serving on a committee or in serving as a committee chairperson. It should be understood that current Advisory and Standing Committee members and Chairpersons are also welcome to volunteer for the positions that they currently hold as well.

Attached for your review is a document that lists Advisory Committee Responsibilities. You will note that the High Performance Committee was moved from an Advisory Committee status to a Standing Committee status by recent Board action. The Standing Committees and their responsibilities are described in the Bylaws that are posted on the USATT website and they are listed under Article IX, Sections 9.1 through 9.17.

If after reviewing the Advisory and Standing Committee responsibility areas, a member is interested in serving for the next term, please send me a not-to-exceed one (1) page document indicating the Advisory or Standing Committee(s) you are interested in serving as a member or Chairperson along with a brief resume of your experience.

This volunteer solicitation process will close on Dec. 22, 2010.  We fully anticipate announcing Board approved Chairpersons and Advisory and Standing Committees in January of 2011.
