ClubJOOLA to host USATT Junior and Cadet Teams National Training Camps
USA Table Tennis has selected ClubJOOLA in Rockville, MD to be the
site of this year’s summer training camp for its Junior and Cadet
National Teams. The camps are being held from July 13 to July 22,
2008 and will be conducted by National Junior and Cadet Team Coaches.
ClubJOOLA presents an excellent environment for this camp, both from
an athletic and a cultural standpoint.
The facility is located in Rockville, MD, in a quiet residential
neighborhood only a few miles outside of the Washington DC beltway.
With easy access to Washington’s impeccable Metrorail system,
youngsters attending the class will have mass transit access to the
attractions of the area, even while residing in chaperoned housing.
ClubJOOLA is convenient to the Smithsonian Museums, National Art
Gallery, Kennedy Center, National Mall, White House, US Capital and
the various monuments of the nation’s capital. It is also near the
White Flint Mall, C & O Canal National Park, the outstanding
recreational facilities of Montgomery County, MD, including pools and
tennis courts. There are four nearby MLB and NFL franchises.
From a training standpoint, attendees will be receiving instruction
in a clean, modern facility that regularly features three USATT
certified coaches on staff. The playing hall is outfitted with two
training robots, brand-new JOOLA tables and has a playing space that
is seamlessly floored with a professionally installed Gerflor Sports
Court. The club’s pro store has a state of the art wide screen with
VHS and DVD player to view table tennis footage or current movies and
TV broadcasting.
