USATT would like to congratulate Wang Chen for reaching the quarterfinals in singles event at the 2007 World Championships.

Ranked # 47 in the May ITTF World Ranking, Chen defeated Heine Veronika (Austria) ranked # 160, Tie Yana (Hong-Kong) ranked #6, Park Mi Young (Korea) ranked # 22, Daniela Dodean (Romania) ranked # 63 in the world before losing to # 3 seed and newly crowned World Champion, Guo Yue from China.
