DONIC Makes Smashing Debut at 2005 North American Table Tennis Championships

U.S. and Canada's best players battle for international titles and to qualify for the 2005 World Cup.

Ottawa, Canada – The Canadian Table Tennis Association (CTTA) has selected DONIC as the official title and equipment sponsor for the 2005 North American Table Tennis Championships to be held at the Mirabel Tennis Centre in Montreal on March 25-26, 2005.  The best players in the North American Championships will be playing on the International Table Tennis Federation's Approved DONIC Persson 25 professional space-saving table.  As a world leader in table tennis, DONIC has supplied tables to the World Championships, players like Jan Ove Waldner of Sweden (Olympic and World Champion) and the newly created Tops School Program for the CTTA.

The Tops School Program is an excellent resource for introducing the sport of table tennis to students from the age of 6 to 17. The program is aimed at the beginner and introduces basic skills and techniques.  Participating schools will be able to order the DONIC Triflex table at a special school price. A table with an ingenious mechanism for easy setup and adjustable from the standard height of 76 cm (30 inches) to 70cm (27.5 inches) to 64 cm (25 inches), with a special high performance top that is designed for kids of all ages to increase as they grow in size during their junior career.  This program is especially good for instructors with very little table tennis experience as it clearly outlines every aspect of skill so that you can learn right along with your students.
