Ten Year Old Lily Zhang Receives an International Award

Lily Zhan, a USATT National Cadet player, was recently honored by receipt of a special Award at the South African World Cadet Championships, Oct. 16-28, 2007.

The following statement was contained in the ITTF webpage WJCC article titled, “Well done, my friends”:

“One of the most refreshing performances so far in the history of the ITTF World Cadet Challenge belonged to a young girl from the USA. When young Lily Zhang-only ten years old- received the Fair Play and Friendship Award from the host association, she personified more than ever the passion we all feel for this event.”
