World Championships of Ping Pong Notice from ITTF

TO ALL MEMBER NATIONAL ASSOCIATIONS

Dear Friends,

To follow-up on my previous e-mail with regards to an event to be held in Las Vegas on 7-8 February, 2011, named World Ping Pong Championships, the organizers and sponsors of the event have agreed to rename the event "International Classic Ping Pong championship", which is acceptable.

Please note that in the spirit of cooperation, and due to the proximity to the date of the event, please inform your players who have entered this event that they can participate in this event, without consequence, provided that the name change has taken place as mentioned above.

This announcement is in agreement with the organizers who have shown full cooperation and understanding of the ITTF's rights and the ITTF's position in this matter.
