The Tournament Guide has been updated October 2006. There are changes in:

Chapter 1 – Introduction, includes a change in tournament passes.
Chapter 3 –Tournament Sanction, ends prohibition in playing in unsanctioned tournaments, adds waiver of liability form, and updates entry blank example.
Chapter 4 –Duties of Officials and Playing Conditions, changes referee requirements.
Chapter 6 – Draw Procedures, Elimination Events. No change in content but the entire chapter is in one PDF file for simplified downloading.
Chapter 7 –Round Robin Competition, changes requirements for scheduling matches and adds sample sequences for when two players advance from groups.
Chapter 8 –Team Competition, includes an additional 3 player team format, the Olympic format to be used in the 2008 Olympic Games, some additional material and a set of frequently asked questions.
Chapter 10 –Computer Operations, contains information on use of downloadable forms needed for a tournament. It includes round robin formats with match sequences for when one or two players advance from each group.
Chapter 12 –Major Tournaments. Completely rewritten.
