The Slow and Low / Man Made Motion Debacle by Dr. Atmo?

This Wire reported:
Another alleged case of theft was highlighted recently when German electro-scientist Dr Atmo released a new cd called Man Made Motion on Mille Plateaux. According to Ambient world watchers, the record is an illegitimate reissue of Tetsu Inoue's Slow and Low cd which was released on Pete Namlooks label in 1995. Its still not clear if this was an error, a prank, or an act of pure evil.

MILLE PLATEAUX PRESS RELEASE

> RE.: DR. ATMO - "MAN MADE MOTION" (RITORNELL 2)

The above CD, released in may 1999 through the new MILLE PLATEAUX dark electronica sublabel RITORNELL, was offered us by DR. ATMO as his first solo work after over 20 collaborations with different artists.

Now we have to realize, that "Man Made Motion" is a complete rip-off of TETSU INOUE'S album "SLOW AND LOW", released 1995 via FAX-RECORDS..

We are astonished and shocked about this fact and have deleted the item immediately from our catalogue.

The legal situation between all parties will be cleared a.s.a.p..

Well, I'm wondering if Dr. Atmo will have the audacity to release a remix version of "Man Made Motion." Maybe he could call it something like "Man Made CoMotion" or "Stole And Low" or "Namlook's Gonna Be Angry As Hell Now" or...
