Putting Games For Developing Great Touch
FOUR CORNERS
(see setup diagram below)
Knee Knockers
How To Play:
- Stick a tee a putter length away at each four corners
(north, south, east, west) of a practice green hole
- Putt 3 balls from each location and circle the four corners
3 times for a total of 36 putts. For an additional challenge,
every third ball can be putted with your eyes closed.
Scoring:
- Score 1 point for each ball holed
Six Feet Under
How To Play:
- Stick a tee 2 putter lengths at away at each four corners (north,
south, east, west) of a practice green hole.
- Putt 3 balls from each location and circle the four corners 3 times
for a total of 36 putts. For an additional challenge, every third ball
is putted looking at the hole.
Scoring:
- Score 1 point for each ball holed
BETWEEN THE LINES
(see setup diagram below)
How To Play:
- Stick 2 tees 1 putter length away from each other in the practice
green (away from any holes). Step off approximately 25 feet and also mark
another area with 2 tees as described above. Putt 3 balls 6 times each
way for a total of 36 putts.
Scoring:
- Score 1 point for each ball that comes to rest between the lines
LAG MAN
(see setup diagram below)
How To Play:
- Place a marker in the practice green (away from any holes) and stick
6 tees 1 putter length from the marker to form a circle. Step off
approximately 50 feet and construct another 3 foot circle using a marker
and 6 tees. Putt 3 balls 6 times each way for a total of 36 putts.
Scoring:
- Score 1 point for each ball that comes to rest inside the circle
