Q: I read the rules regarding a "let" ball. Our players call any ball that goes over or does not go over a "net" ball. Is there a difference? or are the words interchangeable?- submitted by Shelly Rosenberg.
A: "Net" is only called during service, when the ball touches the net, but the serve is otherwise good. "Let" is called when a rally has to be stopped for other reason, without awarding a point to either player or pair.
