USA Table Tennis Launches New Membership Passport Program to Foster Connection and Build a Vibrant Table Tennis Community
by USA Table Tennis
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – June 23, 2026 – USA Table Tennis (USATT) is proud to announce the launch of the USATT Membership Passport Program, a new initiative designed to inspire participation, strengthen connections, and build a more vibrant and engaged table tennis community across the United States.
The Membership Passport transforms the traditional membership experience into an interactive journey that encourages members to participate in tournaments and club leagues, discover new places to play, and celebrate their personal milestones in the sport. The Passport will serve as a living record of each member's table tennis journey, capturing participation in every USATT-sanctioned tournament and league throughout their membership.
At its core, the program is guided by a simple philosophy: table tennis is more than a competition—it is a community. Every tournament entered, every league played, and every club visited creates opportunities to meet new people, share experiences, and develop lasting friendships through a shared love of the game.
"The Membership Passport Program is about creating a deeper sense of connection and belonging within our sport," said Virginia Sung, Chief Executive Officer of USA Table Tennis. "We want to encourage our members to get out and play, explore new communities, and create memories that extend far beyond the table. By capturing every tournament and league experience, the Passport becomes a personal story of each member's journey and the connections they make along the way."
The program also incorporates a recognition and rewards component that celebrates active participation and long-term engagement in the sport. As members participate in sanctioned tournaments and USATT club leagues, they will have opportunities to unlock milestones, earn special recognition, and enjoy membership rewards that encourage continued involvement in the table tennis community.
"The Passport is more than a tracking tool or rewards program," added Sung. "It is a way to celebrate our members' journeys, recognize their commitment to the sport, and encourage meaningful connections that strengthen our entire table tennis community. Our vision is to create a nationwide network where every member feels welcomed, valued, and connected through a shared passion for table tennis."
The USATT Membership Passport Program will officially launch in summer 2026 and will be available to members nationwide.
Once the USATT Membership Passport application is submitted, members may receive their passports at the U.S. Events, through their home club, or at a tournament or a league in which they participate.
