TERMS OF SERVICE

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully.

By participating in the USA Table Tennis Membership Passport Program [“Membership Passport Program”] and/or using a USATT Membership Passport Booklet, or seeking to accumulate or redeem any Passport Points under this Program, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service, USATT’s Data Privacy Policy, and the USATT Member Code of Conduct.

Program Overview

• The Membership Passport Program is a complimentary benefit provided to current members of USATT in good standing [“Members”].
• The Membership Passport Program allows Members to earn Passport Points by participating in USATT Sanctioned Tournaments and Leagues. Passport Points can be redeemed for designated USATT merchandise, discounts on other merchandise, and, under certain designated circumstances, USATT Memberships.
• There is no additional fee, charge, or purchase required to enroll or participate in the Membership Passport Program.
• The Membership Passport Booklet is intended for USATT Members to serve as a keepsake record of a USATT Member’s journey in table tennis in the United States of America.
• The Initial Membership Passport Booklet will be issued on July 1, 2026, to each and every active USATT Member in good standing of USATT as of that date. Thereafter, a Passport Booklet will be issued to each and every person, who was not an active Member of USATT on July 1, 2026, but who becomes a Member thereafter.
• A Membership Passport Booklet is valid for three years from the Date of Issuance. Membership Passport Points must be redeemed prior to the expiration of the Membership Passport Booklet. Membership Passport points not redeemed prior to the expiration of the Membership Passport Booklet are invalid.
• Passport Points begin to accumulate from the Date of Issuance of the Membership Passport Booklet. No Passport Points will be awarded for Sanctioned Tournaments and Leagues in which the Member competed prior to the Date of Issuance of the Membership Passport Booklet.
• The initial Passport Booklet issued at the beginning of the three-year active period is free of charge to USATT Members in good standing. USATT will provide a replacement Membership Passport Booklet during the three-year active period for a charge of $10.00 (USD).

Membership Passport Points – Participation in USATT Events

• USATT Members participating in the Membership Passport Program are awarded a designated number of Passport Points for each USATT Premier Event, Elite Event, Sanctioned Tournament, and Club League in which the Member competes.
• USATT Premier Events are the US Open, the US Nationals and the US Open Teams Event. A Participating Member receives 100 Passport Points for each USATT Premier Event in which the Member competes.
• Triple Crown Bonus. A Member who competes in all three USATT Premier Events during a given Calendar Year (the US Nationals, the US Open, and the US Open Teams) will be awarded an additional 300 points, i.e. the Member will receive a total of 600 Passport Points for competing in these three Premier Events during one Calendar Year. This challenge is known as the Triple Crown Bonus.
• USATT Elite Events are all USATT tournaments related to US National Team Selection, US National Team Trials and USATT Regional Championships. A Participating Member receives 50 Passport Points for each USATT Elite Event in which the Member competes.
• USATT Sanctioned Tournaments are all 0 – 4 Star USATT Sanctioned Tournaments.  A Participating Member receives 30 Passport Points for each Sanctioned Tournament in which the Member Competes.
• USATT Club Leagues are each specific and separate league created and run by a USATT Affiliated Member Club.  A Participating Member receives 5 Passport Points for each USATT Club League in which the Member Competes.

Membership Passport Points – Available Rewards

• Participating Members are eligible to redeem Passport Points at any time during the three-year active period of their Membership Passport Booklet.
• USATT shall designate a specific item or list of items of USATT and/or table-tennis merchandise that can be obtained by redeeming available Passport Points. This list of available merchandise shall be maintained on USATT’s website.
• There are Five Levels of Passport Point Redemption: (i) Level One – 300 Points; (ii) Level Two – 600 Points; (iii) Level Three – 1200 Points; (iv) Level Four – 1800 Points; and (v) Level Five – 3000 Points.
• Each Level is intended to offer merchandise of a relative greater value consistent with the corresponding number of Passport Points redeemed.
• A Participating Member redeeming 3000 Points for Level Five will receive a free entry fee for that individual Member in either the US Nationals or US Open, as well as that Member’s choice of a Level Four merchandise item. Entry may not be gained to the US Open Teams by redeeming this point level.
• The USATT Member Passport Program offers three special challenges:
• League Challenge. A Participating Member who competes in Club League Play in twelve (12) different USATT Member Affiliated Clubs during the three-year active period of their Passport Booklet will receive a free one-year USATT Silver Membership.
• Tournament Challenge. A Participating Member who competes in forty-eight (48) USATT Sanctioned Tournaments (including USATT Elite and Premier Events) during the three-year active period of their Passport Booklet will receive a free one-year Gold Membership.
• State Challenge. A Participating Member who participates in a qualifying event (tournament and/or league) at USATT Affiliated Member Clubs in thirty-six (36) different states (including Washington, DC and all US Territories) during the three-year active period of the Passport Booklet will receive a free USATT Lifetime Membership.

Membership Passport Points – Redemption Process

• Each Participating Members is encouraged to maintain an accurate keepsake record in the Member’s Passport Booklet of participation in USATT Events resulting in the accumulation of Passport Points.
• However, USATT’s Electronic Digital Database of Tournaments and Leagues serves as the final and official determining record of the number of Passport Points available for redemption by a Participating Member at any given time.
• USATT reserves the absolute right to determine the final, definitive balance of qualifying play and the number of Passport Points available for redemption by a Participating Member at any given time.
• When a Participating Member is ready to redeem Passport Points, the Member must submit an email to USATT (Tina.Ren@USATT.org), which includes:
• The Member’s Name and USATT Member Number;
• The Number of Passport Points the Member is seeking to redeem; and
• A list of the Tournaments and Leagues in which the Member has participated since the issuance of the Member Passport Booklet.
• A digital image of the pages from the Passport Booklet (with the Participating Member’s black-ink signature and date of redemption on each page of the Booklet) is the preferred method of submitting a request for Passport Point Redemption;
• However, it is important to reiterate that it is the USATT Electronic Digital Database of Tournaments and Leagues that serves as the final and official record of the available Passport Points at any given time.
• Once Passport Points are redeemed, they are no longer available to the Participating Member. Passport Points that have not been redeemed will remain available during the three-year active period for the Participating Member’s Passport Booklet. All unredeemed Passport Points automatically expire at the expiration of the Booklet’s three-year active period.

Independent Operation of Affiliate Member Clubs and Fees

• Only current and active USATT Member Affiliate Clubs are eligible to serve as hosts for USATT Sanctioned Tournaments and/or Leagues.
• For certain expressly designated events (such as the US Open, US Nationals, US Open Teams, National Team Trials and National Ranking Tournaments), USA Table Tennis is the direct host of the Sanctioned Tournament.
• Unless otherwise expressly stated in the Entry Form and/or Prospectus, all participating USATT Affiliated Member Clubs serving as hosts for Sanctioned Tournaments and/or Leagues are independently owned and operated by the club itself. Such clubs are not partners, joint ventures, agents or employees of USA Table Tennis.
• Unless otherwise expressly stated in the Entry Form and/or Prospectus, USATT acts solely as the program coordinator for the Membership Passport Program and is not liable or responsible for the facility safety, management, staffing, scheduling, on-site match officiating, or on-site rules enforcement at any event hosted by a USATT Affiliate Member Club.
• With the exception of USATT Membership Fees, all tournament entry fees and league registration fees are determined, charged, and collected solely by the hosting Affiliate Member Club. USATT is not a party to these financial transactions and has no liability or obligation to issue refunds, credits, or compensation for event cancellations, club closures, or fee disputes.

Strict Compliance with the Code of Conduct

• Eligibility for, and participation in, the Membership Passport Program is strictly conditioned upon a Member’s full and continuous compliance with the official USATT Member Code of Conduct.
• USATT reserves the absolute right, in the organization’s sole discretion, to void accumulated play history, cancel active Passport Points, or permanently ban any individual from the Member Passport Program for violations of the USATT Member Code of Conduct.
• Violations of the USATT Member Code of Conduct, such as unsportsmanlike behavior, harassment of officials or players, cheating, altering physical stamps or Passport Booklets, falsifying web tracking data, or causing disruptions at any USATT Sanctioned Tournament or League can result in the immediate forfeiture of all Passport Points.

Program Modification, Territorial Scope, and Termination

• The USATT Membership Passport Program is intended to operate across multiple jurisdictions within the United States of America. However, program availability, specific tournament perks, and discount structures may vary based on local state regulations and facility capacities.
• USATT reserves the right to change, modify, restrict, or terminate the Membership Passport Program (including point values, membership discounts or awards, and merchandise discounts or awards) at any time, in the sole discretion of USATT, without prior notice.
• For residents of states requiring financial incentive disclosures (e.g., California, Colorado), your enrollment explicitly grants permission to process your event attendance and match data in exchange for the offered benefits of the Passport Points Program.

Physical Activity and Injury Liability Waiver

• Earning Membership Passport Points requires physical participation in competitive table tennis activities. Members expressly acknowledge that sports involve inherent risks of physical injury.
• By participating in tournaments or leagues to earn Membership Passport rewards, USATT Members voluntarily assume all risks, and agree that USATT, its officers, directors, and independent affiliate clubs are not liable for injuries sustained during tournament or league play. USATT Members must maintain a valid, signed General Liability Waiver on file for each Sanctioned Tournament and/or League in which the Member participates.

Limitation of Liability

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, USATT shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the Membership Passport Program.
• The Member Passport Program is provided strictly on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
• Accumulated Passport Points (or any other rewards, status available in the Member Passport Program) do not constitute personal property, have zero cash value, and cannot be sold, transferred, or assigned; furthermore, such rewards do not entitle participants to any vested rights. USATT does not guarantee the continued availability of any specific reward.
• Participants are solely responsible for any personal tax liability arising from the accumulation or redemption of rewards.

Opting Out of the USATT Membership Passport Program

• USATT Members opt into this incentive program automatically by becoming an active USATT Member. You have the right to withdraw from the Program at any time by contacting us at Admin@usatt.org.
