In one month, June 25 signals the beginning of the competition to reveal the next group of elite USATT athletes at the 2022 U.S. National and National Jr. Team Trials.

The Team Trials will occur at Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, Texas. The trials begin one week prior, June 25, and finish July 1, one day before the 2022 U.S. Nationals, in Fort Worth.

PROSPECTUS HIGHLIGHTS

ELIGIBILITY:

Men’s and Women’s Team - All athletes must be eligible to represent the United States at world and continental championships. Athletes must be citizens of the United States and eligible under the ITTF rules to represent USA at 2022 Pan Am Championships. The 2022 Pan Am Championships is the first step of a qualification for the 2023 World Championships. Players who qualify at the 2022 Pan Am Championships for the World Championship will represent Team USA at the 2023 World Championships.

Age Categories - All athletes must be eligible to represent the United States at world and continental championships. Athletes must be citizens of the United States and eligible under the ITTF rules to represent USA at 2022 Pan Am Championships.

U11 – born on or after January 1, 2011

U13 – born on or after January 1, 2009

U15 – born on or after January 1, 2007

U17 – born on or after January 1, 2005

U19 – born on or after January 1, 2003

AGE EVENTS

Age Events: U-11, U-13, U-15, and U-19:

The 2022 US National Champion for each age category will be awarded the First Position on the 2022 US National Team for that respective age category. Positions 2 through 8 on the 2022 US National Team age categories will be determined by order of finish at the 2022 US National Team Trials. Membership on the 2022 US National Team for the age group categories will run from the completion of the US National Team Trials and/or the US National through Dec 31, 2022.

Age Event: U-17:

The top eight (8) finishers at the 2022 US Nationals will qualify for the 2022 National Team. The competition format will be Round Robin (RR) leading to Single Elimination (SE).
