United States Fills the U15 Singles Finals

The United States has played their way into all four finalist positions in the Cadet U15 Boys’ and Girls’ Singles Championships.

In the U15 Girls’ Singles final, LIN Yishiuan is contending with LIU Amber for the Pan Am Youth Championships Gold.
To get into the finals, LIN Yishiuan defeated HATAKEYAMA Julia — Brazil at 3-1 (5-11, 11-4, 11-8, and 11-6) while storming back after going down game one.
LIU Amber outlasted KANO OZEKI Lana Namie of Brazil 3-2 (11- 8, 11-9, 9-11, 7-11, 11-6) in the Girls’ Singles semifinals.

Headlining the U15 Boys Singles championship final is HE Xianyao versus Stanley HSU in the all-American gold medal matchup.
In the semifinals for Boys’ Singles, HE gained the upper hand and fended off Brazil’s YAMANE Hamilton 3-1 (4-11, 11-7, 11-5, and 11-9).
On the other side of the semis, HSU Stanley found his rhythm in his match against ROMANSKI Lucas out of 3-1 (9-11, 11-4, 11-4, and 11-8).
The finals are scheduled for this evening at 6:15 PM ET inside the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center in West Virginia.
