[Huntsville, Alabama, July 3, 2024] – The 2024 U.S. Nationals, hosted by USA Table Tennis, opened its doors for competition today at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama. This prestigious event, held in Alabama for the first time, boasts an impressive setup of 71 tables, accommodating 115 events across various age, rating, paralympic and Parkinson’s categories. A total of 621 players, representing 35 states from across the country, have converged in Huntsville to compete for championship titles.


With only 23 days until the Opening Ceremonies of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, all 4 athletes qualified to the Olympic Games and 3 athletes qualified to the Paralympic Games are in attendance in Huntsville. Their esteemed presence demonstrates the importance of these U.S. Nationals as preparation for the games and to be together as a team prior to their journey abroad.
