USA Table Tennis (USATT) has released the selection procedures for the 2026 Adult National Team, outlining the criteria and qualifying events that will determine team membership and international event participation in 2026.

The Adult National Team will consist of eight players per gender, selected based on a combination of World Rankings and performance at designated domestic tournaments. Points earned in 2025 will remain valid for a rolling 12-month period, ensuring continuity and consistency in the selection process.

Only the top four finishers in each age category will receive USATT funding and a full set of team uniforms to compete in designated international events.

Junior athletes may substitute points earned from one Adult Ranking Tournament in place of points from a U19 Junior Ranking Tournament. This substitution is permitted once only. For example, points from Adult Ranking Tournament I may replace points from Junior Ranking Tournament I.
