USA Table Tennis Announces 2021 ITTF Pan Am Youth Championships Teams

(Colorado Springs, CO – August 19, 2021) – USA Table Tennis today announced the players who will represent the United States at the 2021 ITTF Pan Am Youth Championships. The elite squads of boys and girls will compete in Team, Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles events in the U-19 and U-15 categories. The Pan Am Youth Championships, which will be held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, on September 12th through the 18th, serves as a Regional Qualifier for the ITTF World Youth Championships, which will be held in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal, on December 2nd through the 8th.
“We’re very excited about the squads that we’re sending to the Dominican Republic for this very important event,” said Sean O’Neill, the High Performance Director for USATT. “The fact that this is a Regional Qualifier for the World Youth Championships certainly heightens the stakes of the event. Many of the young athletes on this Pan Am Youth Championship Team will be representing America for years to come on the international stage, and this is an excellent tournament to gain that invaluable experience that makes you a better player and person.”
The 2021 Pan Am Youth Championship Teams, which will be led by Head Coach Jun Gao and assistants Samson Dubina and Cory Eider, are as follows:
