The World Veterans Tour – Road to Oman is making its way to the United States from December 14 – 16, 2022. The event will take place as a precursor to the U.S. Open Table Tennis Championships in Ontario, California, located just under 35 miles from Los Angeles. The World Veterans Tour Prospectus is featuring events open to players 40 and over with seven age categories. Men’s & Women’s Singles and Doubles (Doubles events are encouraged but not required to play singles events). Singles events are formatted in round-robin and progressive knockout stages.

ITTF Announcement:

Every singles event winner of the “World Veterans Tour – Road to Oman” will get a free entry for the Oman 2023 World Veterans Championships and all participants of the tour will benefit from a 10% discount on the entry fee of the World Championships.

The “World Veterans Tour – Road to Oman” events are open to players aged 40 and over, with seven age categories on offer: 40-49, 50-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+. The competition includes Men’s & Women’s Singles and Doubles. Single players compete in a round-robin and a Progressive KO stages.

Players are guaranteed to compete in world-class events with international participation and win points for the ITTF World Veterans Ranking System.

The World Veteran Table Tennis Championships 2023 will take place on 15-21 January in the Sultanate of Oman, a country of breath-taking natural beauty.
