USA Table Tennis Launches New Membership Tiers Effective January 1, 2026

Colorado Springs, CO — December 8, 2025 — USA Table Tennis (USATT), the national governing body for table tennis in the United States, announces the launch of three new distinct membership tiers—Bronze, Silver, and Gold—effective January 1, 2026. These tiers reflect the three core player pathways in American table tennis: players who enjoy the sport socially at clubs, those who are active competitors and play multiple tournaments throughout the year, and those who pursue national and international competition.

USATT is committed to strengthening the overall experience for every member, with benefits tailored to how different players engage with the sport.

For Gold members, this tier opens the door to the highest level of competition available in the United States. Gold players can enter premier events such as the U.S. Nationals, U.S. Open, U.S. Open Team Championships, National Team Ranking Tournaments, WTT events, and other international-caliber competitions held on home soil. It allows players to compete on the elite stage—offering the chance to play against players from across the country, build national visibility, and pursue opportunities that lead to continental and global representation. For devoted athletes with big goals and profound enthusiasm for the sport, the Gold membership provides the most opportunity for table tennis competition in the U.S.

The Silver membership tier is ideal for players who want to compete regularly and track their progress through the national rating system. Silver players can enter all 0–4 Star tournaments, as well as USATT State and Regional Championships, giving them steady access to meaningful competitions throughout the year. These events provide valuable opportunities to build rating points, measure improvement, and climb the competitive ladder. For members who want to stay active on the tournament circuit and continue developing their game, the Silver membership offers an excellent balance of value, flexibility, and opportunity.

The Bronze membership tier is designed for people who enjoy playing table tennis socially and it offers easy, flexible ways to get involved in the sport.  Bronze members can participate in USATT club leagues and E-Sports competitions, which provide fun and accessible opportunities to play, connect with, and stay active within their local communities.  It’s also an ideal option for club players who want to be part of USATT but do not wish to compete in tournaments.  For those looking for a simple and affordable way to engage with the sport they love, the Bronze membership offers a welcoming entry point to the USATT community.

For those who participate in tournaments infrequently, a $20 Tournament Pass is available. A player may purchase a Tournament Pass for any 0–4-star tournament. A new tournament pass must be purchased per tournament competed in. This tournament pass allows players to compete in any tournament without requiring a full membership, making it an affordable option for occasional participants who might want a non-membership option.

As a new feature, members who wish to move to a higher tier—such as from Bronze to Silver or Silver to Gold—may upgrade their membership at any time.

Membership Renewals through JustGo Platform

Beginning January 1, 2026, renewals and upgrades can conveniently be processed through the new JustGo platform, providing a seamless experience for renewing membership and accessing benefits.
