[Huntsville, July 5, 2024] – Amy Wang and Rachel Sung have captured their third consecutive U.S. Women's Doubles National title at the 2024 U.S. National Championships in Huntsville, AL. In dominant fashion, the reigning 2024 Pan Am Games gold medalists and 2023 World University Games bronze medalists, swept the competition and did not lose a game during the competition.

The pair, roommates at UCLA, are also headed to the Olympic Games – Paris 2024 in a few short weeks, with Amy and Rachel planning to play doubles together as part of the Women’s Team event.

“Competing at the U.S. Nationals a few weeks before the Olympic Games gives us a chance to get tournament tough. We can train a lot, but there’s no way to train a competition.” Rachel Sung said of the importance of winning the title and competing in Huntsville before Paris 2024.

The pair have soared in their doubles play over the past year, winning title after the title. The win at the 2024 U.S. Nationals provides confidence for Amy and Rachel as they look to make their Olympic debuts in a few weeks.
