Men's and Women's Doubles Semifinals Set at 2025 U.S. Nationals

ONTARIO, Calif. – After five days of table tennis action, the stage is set for the Men’s and Women’s Doubles Championships. The two major championship events have reached the semifinal round at the 2025 U.S. Nationals.


Top seeds Amy Wang and Abigail Yu, who received a first-round bye, defeated Tanvi Desai and Isabella Luo in the quarterfinals, winning 3-1 (11-5, 11-7, 0-11, 11-7). They will face Tashiya Piyadasa and Kayla Goodwin, who advanced with a 3-1 win over Xu and Mandy Yu (11-7, 11-5, 3-11, 11-7).

In the other semifinal, Tiffany Ke and Irene Yeoh will go up against Jessica Reyes-Lai and 2025 Women’s Singles Champion Sally Moyland.

The women’s doubles final is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. PST today, July 3.


Top-seeded pair Nikhil Kumar and Sid Naresh received a bye into the semifinals, where they will meet Krish Gandhi and Aryan Jha. Gandhi and Jha advanced after a 3-0 win over Jishan Liang and Bosman Botha (11-9, 12-10, 11-9).

In the second semifinal, Nandan Naresh and Daniel Tran defeated Ryan Lin and Alex Luo 3-1 (11-7, 13-11, 2-11, 11-6). They will face Nicholas Tio and Victor Liu.

The men’s doubles final is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. PST today, July 3.
