The 2026 USATT Pacific Regional Championships were held February 20–22 at the India Community Center (ICC) in Milpitas, California. Hosted by ICC, the three-day championship featured 263 players and a full schedule of competition across age-group, rating, and open divisions, bringing together one of the strongest fields in the Pacific Region this season.

The championship events concluded with Lei Kou and Yurina Okamoto capturing the Men’s and Women’s Singles titles.

In Men’s Singles, Kou entered the event as the top seed and advanced steadily through the draw. After opening with a bye, he defeated Sai Anish Sivakumar in the quarterfinals and Kiranjoy Pushilal in the semifinals. Kou closed the tournament with a straight-game victory over Wei Wang in the final to secure the title. Wang advanced from the lower half of the draw after a semifinal win over Chulong Nie, while Pushilal and Nie shared third-place finishes.

The Women’s Singles event featured several close matches from the quarterfinals onward. Okamoto progressed through the draw with wins over Genelia William and Xin Li, while Mendy Wang advanced on the opposite side following a semifinal victory over Mingxuan Nie. The final featured multiple tightly contested games, with Okamoto emerging victorious to claim the Women’s Singles championship. Nie and Li finished tied for third place.

Junior events produced several notable results, highlighted by strong carryover performances from earlier national events. In Boys Under 19 Singles, Xianyao He continued his upward momentum after earning a bronze medal at the 2026 USATT Southwest Regional Championships the previous week. In Milpitas, He defeated top seed Alex Lou in the final to claim the gold medal, marking one of the key upsets of the tournament.

In Under 11 Girls Singles, Shreya Srinivasan captured the gold medal, confirming her strong form after earlier in the year winning the same event at the 2026 US Junior Ranking Tournament I.

The Under 13 Boys Singles final repeated the matchup that decided first and second place at the 2026 US Junior Ranking Tournament I. This time, Chirag Pradhan, representing Table Tennis America, earned the gold medal by defeating his clubmate Ethan Zhou, reversing the outcome of their earlier meeting. Zhou finished with silver and later added another podium finish in Under 15 Boys Singles.

Several athletes distinguished themselves by earning medals across multiple events. Tiana Piyadasa, representing Orange County Table Tennis Academy, delivered one of the strongest junior performances of the weekend by winning both Under 15 Girls and Under 19 Girls.

Rating events also featured repeat podium finishes. Representing the host club, ICC Table Tennis Center, Samvit Desai earned medals in Under 1000 RR, Under 800 RR, and Under 600 RR, while teammate Akash Tangri captured gold in Under 1000 RR and added a bronze medal in Under 800 RR. Vishal Sivakumar, representing Rising Stars World TTA, won Under 2400 RR and also reached the podium in Under 17 Boys Singles.

With competitive draws across all divisions and several athletes producing standout multi-event performances, the 2026 USATT Pacific Regional Championships once again reflected the depth and strength of the Pacific Region. The event ran smoothly at ICC’s facility and continued to serve as a key benchmark for regional and national competition.
